Okay, so seeing some of my friends' blogs has me motivated to figure this out! I love the idea of keeping better tabs on our friends.

We spend the morning working with a bunch of people on one of Nate's young men's Eagle Project. We prepped and stained the wood windows on a preschool. It was a beautiful day and the work got me excited for spring and all that has to be done at our house. I spent some time at the office today, and then we enjoyed a movie night tonight. We watched "August Rush" which was great!

The kids are doing great, and I am forever amazed at them. Kolbe is still very tenative of new things....this week I took the kids to the duck pond and he about made me crazy because he was having a nervous breakdown that Eli would fall in. My standing there holding his hand did nothing to calm Kolbe's nerves! He is really starting to love sports and realizes its a great way for some quality time with dad. Avery and Kenna spend 90% of thier life in a costume of some sort, fighting over who is what princess at any given moment. They have their dance recital in 2 weeks and they are more than excited. Their costumes have been hanging in my closet for a few weeks and its a terrible temptation! Eli has not enjoyed my working this week and has become insanely clingy. He says 'my mom' as a warning to the other kids whenever they think of hugging me. He is getting to be so fun...such a goof! He loves attention and makes the weirdest faces. Last night he litterally snuggled up with his baseball mit and went to sleep. He is forever wanting to play catch with someone...and throws impressively far for a mini-mite.

The house is a wreck...I've not felt like doing much! And things are torn apart...we have the new doors in and the ceiling finally got textured so now its just paint paint and more paint, then baseboards. I hope to finish at least the baseboards around the doors before company comes...so there aren't so many peep holes into bedrooms and bathrooms!

Nate's work is busy again...which is nice! He got his first round of golf in for the season yesterday...and his first sunburned head today! It is supposed to be beautiful again tomorrow so maybe I'll get some sun! Bye for now!
