So, I totally forgot the before and after....well, not the after! But you can't appreciate it unless you remember my old table and nasty chairs...

the material feels and looks like suede, but its PLASTIC-sort of...so it will stay cleaner!

Thank heavens: project one is done! Now I confess, the worst of this project was entirely my mom's! She slaved for me...and I'm eternally grateful. This table turned out 100x better than I ever dreamed...I love it way more today than the day we bought it! And the best part...its still my reminder of grandma. Nate wanted to replace the table...I couldn't bare the thought...so mom went to work...and work and work! But, about 6 weeks later, its done...I finished the chairs today and I think it turned out so good. Its not perfect, but lets face it, who cares??? Its awesome...so here's to my mom, the best mom ever!(Did I mention she also rug shampooed my basement and on her hands and knees sniffed out Eli's potty-traps and enzymed them for me last week?)Yep, she's my favorite...and I'm super super super in love with my new table. I might actually be pleasant tonight!

I have that same material on my chairs...I just re-did them when last summer, and I love it, They clean up so nicely! It looks great! GOt to love those parents who help us get our to-do lists done!
YOur table looks great!! Aren't moms the greatest!! Alyssa loves school. I am glad she does. She is such a social butterfly that is why I think she likes it so much plus she has Brandon's smarts and everything pretty much is easy for her. We are good nothing much new here other than Brandon is at boot camp until December and then we will move who knows where? How are you feeling? How do you like only haveing one child at home during the week?
Love it!!!! Love the back chairs with the brown table too, great choice in colors!
