Last ones, I promise!

Just a quick set of pics to say "YA-HOO!" we finished the work on the new deck. I have absolutely no idea how much time this thing took, other than it was like 2 months start to finish. Technically its not finished, as we still have to strip the old stain off the stairs and restain them to match...but the new deck is stained and done!

The pic of the corner is my proud moment as a carpenter! Don't look TOO closely, or you'll see its not perfect...but, I cut the top railing myself...and made the 45* angles too. I am so so so happy with the deck.

I started cutting the moldings for around the interior doors yesterday too. Since I ripped the old ones off several months ago I'd say its time to work on putting them back. I started with the bathroom and am glad that it is no longer possible for people to peek through the cracks!

That is pretty much the happenings here...

good job on the deck!!! I love your hair!! It is so cute!! Your kids are so dang big!! It is so crazy how fast they grow up. I swear it was yesterday that we were in high school and you would come over and play Dorothy and Toto with Hannah!! Ahh memories and now we have kids old enough to be in school!!

Your deck looks super! I can't believe all the stuff you do on your own... Mike wouldn't like me too much! (Probably because I tend to make problems worse before he steps in to make them better) :0)
I left you another comment on your last post, too.

HEy Julie! THanks for interest in my vinyl! You are welcome to check out my vinyl blog www.cottagequotes.blogspot.com
If you are ordering vinyl only then the prices are based on the area. For example 2 inches tall x 2 feet wide would be around $6 without shipping. Did that make any sense? Feel free to email me at cottagequotes@yahoo.com
